Great Blue Heron to Open Outdoor Themed Coffee Shop
Lawrence entrepreneur Bob Marsh prepares Great Blue Heron on Massachusetts Street to blend coffee with outdoor culture. Partnering with Messenger Coffee Co of Kansas City, the shop will offer drip and pour over brews, espressos, cappuccinos, iced drinks, and teas. It aims to connect downtown Lawrence with local lakes and outdoor hobbies, with plans to possibly sell or rent canoes in the future. The store emphasizes smaller outdoor brands and a bulletin board for local water activity news. Open by late Monday afternoon.
