Jail escapees suspected in kidnappings homicide
Jail trusty Barry L. Parrish 37 escaped Lafayette County Jail Lewisville and allegedly killed guard George Turner near his home while stealing a truck. In Warner State Prison inmates Joseph Davis 39 and Bobby Green 51 feigned illness to escape, stole a guard’s truck and abducted an off duty corrections officer and daughter. Davis captured within two hours, Green remained missing. Hostages found unharmed.

Fire at Babcock Place prompts evacuations and sprinkler concerns
