Mass grave to be opened for five Americans killed in Yugoslavia
Belgrade reports five American airmen killed in a transport plane shot down by Yugoslav fighters will be buried in Belgrade with full military honors. Ambassador Patterson said the bodies would be moved by plane to the capital Monday or Tuesday for the ceremony. The names are Capt. Robert H. Crays, Capt. H. F. Schrieber, Capt. B. H. Frestone, Cpl. M. Conko, and Cpl. C. J. Lower.

Contaminated Wells Near Typhoid Victim in Douglas County
Health officials traced typhoid to water sources southeast of Baldwin after testing 12 sources in the Great Tally creek area. More Hunt Jobs Here At Lawrence Office
Nearly 200 additional persons sought employment this week through the Lawrence office of the United States Employment Service bringing total contacts to 1 016, up from 878 last week. Interviews with students numbered over 100 as the University of Kansas term closed. Of 1 016 applicants 718 were men and 298 women. 150 openings existed, with 112 for men and 38 for women. Fifty two of 83 referred found work, including 29 men with six veterans and 23 women.
