Fairway man arrested after drive-by shooting near Burger King
A 37 year old Fairway man was arrested on two counts of aggravated assault after shots were fired from his red SUV at a silver passenger car near 23rd and Naismith at the Burger King. Police detained five people, released four, and held one for questioning. The silver car, tied to a 16 year old runaway girl and an 18 year old Lawrence man, was located later at a south central Lawrence apartment complex. no injuries reported.
