Free State teen joins Kansas dropout prevention council
Free State High School junior Ken Eggers is among 16 Kansas youths named to the Dropout Prevention Summit Youth Council. The Kansas DropINs program, funded by America's Promise Alliance grants and led by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, will host regional and statewide summits over five months to gather ideas to keep students in school.
