Michael D. Heck of Lawrence was elected deputy state master councilor at the Kansas DeMolay 51st annual convention in Dodge City. Bobb A. Meckenstock of Hays was named state master councilor as more than 300 delegates from 40 chapters attended. Heck, a Lawrence High senior and Kansas University freshman, has served as state marshal and is active in student government and debate.
