DNA database could reunite adoptees with birth parents
Sarasota based advocate Linda Hammer proposes a DNA based database to locate birth parents for adoptees. The project would bank 5000 samples, cost over 1 million dollars, and operate via a Cincinnati lab with cheek swab kits mailed to participants.
