Downtown Lawrence will gain Lucia Beer Garden plus Grill after Mike Logan, owner of The Granada, takes over the former Fatso's space. The new Caribbean themed venue will offer Jamaican jerk turkey legs and late night options following a reggae hangout. Lucia is pronounced Loo-sha like St. Lucia.

Tenants Move In at HERE Kansas Apartments Complex
After over two days, some HERE Kansas tenants can occupy units while 90 await occupancy approvals. A temporary occupancy permit excludes 90 bedrooms on floors seven and eight of the north tower as work finishes.
