Lawrence man shot in attempt to stop car theft
Detectives continued Sunday morning inquiry into a shooting that left a 20 year old man hospitalized with serious wounds in Lawrence. Police said a 23 year old man reported firing a shotgun from an apartment window toward a vehicle break-in, with witnesses confirming multiple shots. The victim was found near Ridge Court in the 2300 block, with shotgun injuries to his right side and shoulder.
