United Way of Douglas County adds Crews as community relations manager
Napoleon Crews, Lawrence author and playwright, starts this month as United Way of Douglas County community relations manager. He will publish Spirit of Kaw Valley, manage Caring Club, update the web site, and foster ties with nearby United Way groups while aiding the Forever United Endowment and annual campaign. Crews previously helped via the Loaned Executive Program. The chapter backs 26 member agencies. Crown Toyota earns Toyota President's Award for third year and supports Lawrence Memorial Hospital’s $40 million capital campaign. Time magazine lists the 20th annual award winners.
