Lawrence city commissioners plan to set 2 p m September 12 as the bid deadline for a 2 19 million North Second Street widening project between Lincoln Street and Industrial Lane. Jail administrator jailed on probation for fund misuse
Former Wyandotte County Jail administrator Michael McDonald received 24 months probation and seven months per count after convictions on four felony charges of misusing public funds. Fifteen month old girl found dead in Kansas City homicide
