In Kingman Arizona a steel tubing beam, about 12 feet long and 4 by 8 inches, fell from a passing freight and pierced a passenger car window killing two on the Santa Fe Chief. Ten others were taken to Kingman Hospital. injuries included broken legs and cuts from flying glass.
