Mrs Carl Graster owns a tide launch named She Lady, launched last night on the river. The 148 launch carries seven seats and a three horsepower Racine engine, with a dainty finish. Aug 3 Baldwin Kansas a government observatory seismograph recorded the Valparaiso quake with shocks starting Thursday at 4 45 pm lasting twenty five minutes in quick succession. A further shock at 7 27 am today is attributed to the same disturbance. officials say the prior night events were linked to South America.
