Prosecutor urges return of papers seized from Marion County Record

Potter convicted of disorderly conduct before murder case
Chadwick Elliot Potter, 34, a transient, was convicted of disorderly conduct for an incident on June 26 near 947 Massachusetts St in Lawrence. He is charged with second degree murder in the death of David Blaine Sullivan, 62, whose body was found near Sixth and Vermont streets July 12.

City updates on Inverness and Ninth Street road work near two Lawrence schools
As Lawrence schools begin, the city reports Inverness Drive near Sunflower Elementary and Southwest Middle will allow single lane through traffic by Saturday noon, with a roundabout and crossing guards guiding pedestrians.
