Demolition Derby Roars At Douglas County Fair
Cars crashed and spark flew as 66 entrants battled for survival in a demolition derby at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. Jim Bogner of Perry won $280 after surviving the preliminaries and final rounds. 66 cars entered, only six reached the final. A late carnival brawl closed the midway and one youth was hospitalized.
