Neighborhood Social Notes From the Flory Home Area
A long list of neighborhood visits and calls describes a week of social activity in the Flory and Kirchner families and their friends. Names include Cline, Deskins, Jessee, Haas, Flory, Gilliland, Kirchner, Harris, and many others with dates noting Tuesday to Sunday gatherings and cooking for threshers. A late note mentions a municipal market project in Dallas and Gen. Metcalf driving to Topeka.
