Drowning Tragedy Of Patterson Boy At Kaw River
Tots Patterson age ten, son of Mr and Mrs W C Patterson, drowned in the Kaw river yesterday near Tea Massee street. Despite boats, divers and help from friends, he sank after being swept twelve to fifteen feet from shore and was recovered over an hour later. Dr. Ands racapronounced him dead upon arrival. funeral set for 6:30 tomorrow at the Patterson home on Mississippi street.

Judge C L Dobson of Kansas City died from head injuries after a fall on the way to a bath room. Born February 8 1848 in Harrison County West Virginia he was admitted to the bar in 1870. He served as judge and later formed prominent law partnerships and taught private corporations law at the University of Kansas. His death caused deep regret among friends and colleagues.
