Lawrence man gets nearly eight years for sex crimes against 7 year old

Lawrence resident Jason Edward Dallinga, 41, was sentenced in Douglas County District Court to 95 months for aggravated indecent liberties with a child and indecent liberties with a child, part of a plea deal that splits charges into two cases. A Aug 31 hearing will finalize a second plea totaling 21.3 more years, plus life registration as a sex offender and lifetime parole. The victim’s mother described drastic changes in her daughter and urged justice.
