A 46 year old Norfolk supervisor Richard A Harris suffered burns to hands arms and face when an oil stove in a small camping trailer caught fire at Tonganoxie State Lake. Harris and his wife and another couple were inside the trailer. Harris grabbed the stove and doused the flames before deputies transported him to Lawrence Memorial Hospital. The Harris family was en route to Virginia after leaving Denver two days earlier with several planned stops.
