Midland Society Notes and Club Meeting Report
The Midland Rural club gathered Thursday afternoon with Mrs. Charles Husted hosting. Guests included Miss Bryant Mrs Chester Spray and Grace Shultz. Roll call featured quotes from the late James Whitcomb Riley and plans were made for an August meeting at Mrs Garvin’s house. Mrs John Meinke travelled to Linwood for a short visit with relatives. Frank Everett Jones Jr son of Capt and Mrs Jones received a silver loving cup from the bar FEL da. His father’s company and family prepare for eventual transfer to Eagle Pass.
