Lawrence mechanic Christine dies in Norton Kansas
Christine, longtime Lawrence resident and skilled mechanic, died at Norton State Infirmary. He leaves a wife and eight children. He worked at Jaedicke Store for years and later with Graeber Brothers as an electrician. Funeral plans to be announced. The Douglas County Horticultural Society will picnic tomorrow noon at A H Griesa's and hold its regular August meeting on the lawn. Members should bring baskets and gather before noon. A special program is set for the meeting.
