Thirty five Kansas children with muscular dystrophy attend a Chihawa Retreat camp run by the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Jerry Lewis Tall Cedars of Lebanon in a week of swimming archery riflery arts and crafts and nightly activities funded by telethons. Attendants join in meals play and sleep over, sharing camaraderie and daily updates in a camp newspaper.
The Busy Dames Extension Homemakers Unit meets at 9 30 a m Thursday at Broken Arrow Park with a salad luncheon and gift exchange. Judy Bond presents Tips on Knits with Nancy Bartz as hostess and hosts Marian ne Bradley Verdena Zeller. The Lone Star 4-H Club toured members projects Sunday with Julian Toney new 4 H agent as special guest.
