Parolee posing as priest jailed after bad checks in Missouri area
In Knoxville Tennessee a federal parolee named Howard Lee White, 29, from Memphis, passed four hundred dollars in bad checks while posing as a Roman Catholic priest. He wore clerical attire and used a fake church office stamp. Police found a check writing setup and bogus identifications in his hotel room. Authorities said he is being held for investigation.
