Hearing on City Budget Set for Monday Night
Public hearing on the proposed city budget and levy for next year will be held Monday night when the council meets at 8 oclock at the new city hall. The proposed levy is 13.11 mills, compared with 13.70 mills this year. It will be an adjourned session of the council and considerable other business is to be transacted. Under the law the council may lower the levy still further but cannot increase it.
