Kubota and Skahan win Lawrence state primary races
In Kansas House races for the 44th and 45th districts in Lawrence, Republican candidates Kubota and Skahan secured primary victories. Kubota defeated Michael Walsh 71.79 to 28.2 percent to advance against Democrat Barbara Ballard and Libertarian Jay Germano in the November general.
