Funeral services for Mrs. John Curtis of Kansas City Missouri will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bald win Catholic Church with burial in Baldwin Cemetery. She died Wednesday at Independence hospital at age 8. Survivors include sister in law Mrs Will Curtis and brother in law Tom Curtis. Mrs Lo Alma Knight 72 of Wichita died Wednesday after noon from a cerebral hemorrhage. She was a KU former student and sister of Marie Brown. Funeral arrangements not completed. Funeral services for Mrs Vanata M Carter 9 of 215 W 23rd St died Tuesday will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Cooper Warren chapel. Burial in Reno cemetery. Pallbearers listed.

Manhattan Girl Hurt In Two Car Accident
A 16 year old Manhattan girl was hospitalized after a two car crash on West 23rd Street. Diana Kalous 11 of Manhattan suffered a deep facial cut and possible broken nose and was later released. Carl H. Smith 17 of Manhattan was treated and released. Carolyn J. Miller 25 of Manhattan drove one car. Smith drove the other. Police estimated vehicle damage at 1200 dollars.
