Backhoe accident investigation in Lawrence
A DeSoto man, John Clisso aged 47, was hospitalized in good condition after a backhoe accident Friday near 11th Street on Mississippi. Clisso and a colleague were jump starting the machine when a U-Haul clipped its raised bucket, tipping it onto its side and trapping him. He was treated at Lawrence Memorial Hospital for broken bones and cuts. Police have not issued citations. the incident remains under investigation.
