Recruits With Waivers Promoted Faster in Army Study
An internal Army study obtained by AP finds that recruits needing conduct or drug waivers show more discipline issues yet are promoted faster and more likely to re enlist. It notes higher court martial appearances and dropout rates but also greater enlistment retention and medals for valor among waivered soldiers.
