Kansas House approves spending bill amid KanCare debate
The Kansas House passed a more than 1 billion dollar two year spending bill 92 to 24 sending it to the Senate. An attempted amendment by Rep. Brett Parker to expand KanCare under the ACA failed 66 to 56. Democrats Ballard Highberger Horn and Republican Sloan supported the measure.
