Cheryl Ann Garrett 53 of Lawrence died Monday April 25 2011 at her home. Services will be 1 pm Monday at Ninth Street Baptist Church with Rev Delmar A White officiating. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. She was born July 18 1958 in Lawrence a daughter of John Steve and Clara Belle Garrett. She lived in Lawrence all her life and worked at Scotch Cleaners Holiday Inn Lawrence and Mrs E s on KU campus. Survivors include son Damien Garrett mother Clara Garrett four sisters Sondra Debra Rose and Beatrice Brown Scott five brothers John Garrett Jr James Phillip Tommy and Michael and two granddaughters Dearah and Amalie. Preceded in death by father John Steve Garrett Sr. Friends may call 9 am to 8 pm Sunday at Rumsey Yost Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 4 pm to 6 pm.
