Murder of Kansas couple still unsolved after 1974 slayings
Ensign AP report notes Richard and Clara Anton were found shot and their Gray County farm home burned in June 1974. No arrests were made, clues were scarce, and despite ongoing investigations the case remains open. The Anton children and various leads including threats and a train collection valued at 30000 were considered, but no motive or suspects established.
