More than 1000 South Vietnamese troops pressed a drive to corner a Viet Cong unit in Kien Hoa Province in the Mekong Delta. Major Revisions In Park Permits In Kansas

River Club Raid Nets 3 Arrests
Three men from Topeka and Lawrence were arrested after a raid on the River Club Route 3. Bill Dillon of Lawrence 37 faces charges of running a gambling house selling liquor to minors and destruction of private property over 50 dollars. Elston Clinton Marlin 44 and Elmer Fred Johnson 59 of Topeka are charged with gambling and vagrancy respectively. All posted bond and will appear in County Court Monday. Sheriff Rex Johnson led the operation with police and the county attorney. A county attorney inquiry followed at Ralph King’s courthouse office. Other River Club patrons were asked to answer questions about a gambling game underway.
