Scottish judge rejects Pan Am bombing trial delay
A Scottish High Court judge refused prosecutors eight weeks to delay the Lockerbie bombing trial of Libyans Abdel Basset Ali al-Megrahi and Lamen Khalifa Fhimah. The judge noted 416 days in custody and insisted the trial proceed as scheduled, despite new witness lists and evidence presented by defense and prosecutors.
