Rural water grant unlikely to aid Lawrence area districts
A $1 million state appropriation for rural water district grants will not likely affect the three planned local districts in the Lawrence area. FHA official Lee Wright says the Wakarusa Baldwin Vinland and Tri County districts should be financed through FHA loans, with no grant need given current customer costs.
