Washington Representative Marion Zioncheck obtained a license to wed Miss Rubye Louise Nix of Texarkana Texas but failed to locate a minister on the first list. He later sought a new license after reporting difficulty finding a minister. Zioncheck had been recently convicted of speeding and contempt of court and paid a $45 fine.
