A Harlem hotel that housed Louis Boyd and his eight children on a grant from Louisiana segregationists received a bomb threat to end the hospitality. Police and the FBI searched the Walcott Hotel but found no device. Boyd, hired in New Jersey for 100 dollars weekly, moved to an apartment nearby after the threat.
