In Frazer Pa a 28 year old man killed no one but wounded two relatives and held his mother at gunpoint for four hours after an assault on his sister in law. Charles Klevis was shot during a retreat from police and captured after neighbor Joseph Andrushin intervened. He admitted no remorse.

Barker Pleads Guilty On Marijuana Charges
Richard Elliott Barker twenty six, of 632 Michigan Street, pleaded guilty in District Court to possessing marijuana and sought an observation period at the State Hospital in Topeka before sentencing. He was a Kansas University graduate student and part time instructor when arrested February twenty eighth. James LeRoy Beatty and The star Dean Perry, both twenty three and twenty two, remain free on two thousand five hundred dollar bonds awaiting the May term. The offense carries a maximum penalty of one thousand dollars fine and five years in prison.
