KU to commission earthwork portrait of Bob Dole
The Dole Institute of Politics announced plans to commission Stan Herd to craft a more than 60 foot wide earthwork portrait of Bob Dole on the KU West Campus near 2350 Petefish Drive. Set to mark his 100th birthday in July the piece aims to draw visitors with a large landscape sculpture. Audrey Coleman says the project creates an architectural scale piece unique to the institute.
