From the Kansas Daily Tribune April 26 1868 three individuals faced penalties for weather related distress with fines and jail time. Martin Robinson paid five dollars and costs and was released. John Lee could not pay and went to jail. Robert Shable stayed in jail until sobered then discharged for five dollars and costs. The Turners of the city plan a social hop tomorrow night with admission fifty cents.
