Authorities note he led investigators to the crime scene and the missing couple were buried in shallow graves in a barn stalk.

The wreck left the Buick demolished and the train crew unaware of the collision until after stop requests. A passenger reported bodies beside the track and a man carried about $500 in money on one victim.

University of Kansas Alumni gathered in Kansas City for a banquet with Dean Blackmar and Dr Taam gartner invited to discuss the million velar drive. Chief James Monroe warned drivers about careless use of bright lights and mufflers. Probate Judge Ralph KE Moore and Ethel Richardson of Ottawa wed this morning. Ray J. Morgan of Rich Hill Mo and Mary Ann Lee of Lawrence secured a license Saturday. Mrs E G Heck travels to Tillings Montana with a stop in St Joseph Mo, joined by her brother Robert Guentert Jr in Kansas City.
Saturday at noon Mike Mikesell filed suit in district court against W B Carter H F Aldrich and Floyd Aldrich doing business as Hudson States Company alleging the defendants unlawfully hold a Hudson Supersix sedan at 31400 and seeks the return of the car and 590 in damages. Family notes and local social mentions follow with references to residents in Manhattan and Lawrence.
Representatives of all churches in the Inter-Church Campaign gathered at the Paris house of Plymouth Congregational church as Lawrence Christians contributed to a world wide work. Quotas varied, with First Baptist reporting $21 805 of $35 000 and Evangelical Association meeting 100 percent of its $400. United Brethren and other congregations also posted strong results, with a follow up meeting planned.

Pendleton paid 15.50 for speeding, Sehefstall Kirby and Hussey paid 20 each for speeding, Dunn paid 15 for jay driving and was paroled, Woods paid 50 for drunkenness and disturbing the peace and was paroled for a year, Roberts paid remaining drunk charge, and Ollie Jones was released after ten days jail and paying one.
An Oakland car owned by Walter Staven burned last night on the way from a steak roast. The vehicle traveling about thirty five miles an hour caught fire from underneath and was almost destroyed though salvage was possible. The loss was insured with Charlton Insurance Agency. A small chimney fire at 908 Indiana Street caused five dollars in damage Saturday night. The 183 Agency promotes fire insurance.
