KU Assembly Ends Talks on Arts Degree Changes
Kansas University's College Assembly completed discussion of BA degree requirements and sent the package to mail balloting. Members approved two components while defeating a separate straw vote proposal and other amendments, with the assembly plan set to meet again next Tuesday.

Man Killed in Hutcinson Apartment Fire
A 20 year old man named William Dick died in an apartment house fire in Hutchinson. He had moved from Sedalia Missouri a couple of months ago. Authorities have not determined the fire's cause.
