Study seeks 100000 participants for cancer prevention research
Alpa Patel, inspired by her grandfather's cancer, leads a long term effort in the American Cancer Society third generation study. Researchers seek 30 to 65 year olds with no cancer history to enroll 100000 more participants nationwide. Participants complete surveys, provide blood and waist measurements, and are followed every two years for at least two decades.
