Wichita April N Richardson former president of the defunct American State Bank of Wichita was found guilty on nine counts after a jury verdict announced this morning. Judge Jesse D Wall presided as the trial followed sensational testimony about irregular banking methods and fiery courtroom oratory. Other officers including Phil Dramm former cashier Roy E Crummer and C A Powell vice president face similar charges as the bank’s 1923 collapse is recalled. Powell’s case is expected to go to trial next.
