Planning panel weighs new site for 164-foot telecom tower
Lawrence-Douglas County planners consider a revised plan by APT of Kansas City to place a 164 foot lattice tower about 3000 feet southeast of the original site south of Pleasant Grove. The site, owned by Virgil and Alice Newell, would serve in car and home coverage near U S 59 and N 500 Roads, with permit potential up to 199 feet to accommodate future tenants.

City to approve multiple subdivision and development plans
