Tofu essay wins state health contest for kid author
Cordley School first grader Nathan Williams won a statewide healthy eating essay contest. He wrote about tofu being low fat and high in protein and drew a picture of a “healthy” person with tofu. Sponsored by Sunflower State Games, he earns a gold medal, shirt, gift certificate, and a $50 savings bond and will read at a July 9 reception in Topeka.
