Respiratory Ailment Kills Two-Headed Hartley Baby
Washington Indiana report on the death of a four month old two headed Hartley baby after pneumonia. Born December 12 in Daviess County Hospital the child had two heads, four arms and two stomachs with joined spinal cords. The fatal illness began with a 105 degree fever and the weaker head died first followed by the other within minutes. Parents Cecil and unnamed Hartley gave each head a name Donald Ray and Daniel Kayey. The infant weighed about 10 pounds at birth.
