The memorial service for Cyrus Crane 84 a Kansas City lawyer of sixty years was held Friday in the federal courthouse with about 200 attendees. Crane died February 5 at St Marys hospital. KU Wins Silver Cup at Engineering Expo Display in 11 Buildings

Two Fire Calls Answered By Local Department
Two fire calls were answered yesterday by the local department. A student from Mission, Jee Barnes, caught fire in a parked car at Eighteenth and Michigan, damaging back seat cushions before extinguishing. Shortly after 6 pm, a kitchen fire at 1340 Vermont Street damaged curtains when grease in a stove pan ignited. Mrs Botta was unhurt.
