Lawrence men brew United States vodka in homegrown venture
Burnett and Brock, two Lawrence residents, plan to obtain Missouri distribution for Honor Vodka. From a former dairy warehouse, they distill after three years of trial, using 190 proof grain alcohol blended with filtered water and a proprietary charcoal filtration to yield 80 proof vodka in stainless tanks. The operation emphasizes American-made product and regional sourcing, with grain grown within 100 miles of Lawrence and bottles labeled in Arkansas.
