Freedom rides to recreate 1960s civil rights marches

In Washington DC Jewish teachers plan June trips to recreate the 1960s freedom rides, commemorating the Philadelphia Mississippi murders of 1964. CORE activists James Chaney Andrew Goodman and Michael Schwerner were killed by the Ku Klux Klan as they helped disenfranchised blacks register to vote. The trips will retrace routes and stop at historic sites and black colleges along the way.

Senate OKs Congressional Gold Medal for Rosa Parks

Oklahoma City bombing remembers four years later

High court upholds law banning e mail smut

The Supreme Court unanimously upheld a 1996 Communications Decency Act provision making it a crime to transmit obscene or indecent emails with intent to annoy or harass. Arnett leaves CNN after 18 years with the network
