Park ser as House Detective at Buffalo Inn 1936
In 1936 Uncle Park seved as a house detective at the Buffalo Inn in Sissons le. He kept guests honest with a periscope for peeking and rubber soled shoes to surprise mashers. He used marked cards to teach guests not to gamble with arrangers and even disguised as a maid on a tower theft case, but left with tips and a shaved mustache after a week.

Robbery suspect car held after chase through Missouri

Eight cited in traffic court for violations
Eight persons appeared in police court Tuesday facing traffic violations. Mildred B. Zimmerman of 817 Tenn St received a $5 bond for an improper left turn. Carl Hunsinger of 1630 Barker Ave. had speeding and careless driving with a $75 fine and 10 days jail suspended for two traffic school sessions. Richard Bellinger of 915 Ala St. paid a $10 fine for running a stop sign. Richard McMillan of 1646 Ky St. faced speeding and careless driving with a $65 fine and $15 suspended. Luther Hoell of 705 Me St. was fined $30 for speeding with $10 suspended for one traffic school session. Robert Thiry of Route 5 fined $15 for reckless driving and one traffic school session. Ronald Jaderborg of 1200 Pa St. paid a $15 fine with one session for careless driving. Grant Roman of Oklahoma City forfeited a $10 bond for running a stop sign.

Three men who escaped from a Topeka mental hospital were jailed in Allen County on charges of breaking and entering.
